Omega was horrified to be informed by the Communication Grid that the Decepticons held eighty-five percent of the planet that only three of the High Council lived and all of them were Decepticons the AllSpark had been ejected from the Well of All Sparks and Sentinel Prime was dying. Teletraan-1 reactivated Omega Supreme to fly the Plasma Energy Chamber to safety. Having acquired the Code Keys of Power and Justice, Megatron opened the entrance to the Plasma Energy Chamber below the High Council Tower to corrupt the Core of Cybertron with Dark Energon. Omega Supreme was the legendary Guardian of Crystal City.

The game is by no means perfect, with plenty of balance issues and a couple annoying bugs, but it's a very solid game that's easy to just play and have a very good time with. The transformation mechanics are smooth, the action is high-impact, the shooting is fun, and the payoffs from blowing up other giant robots are extremely satisfying. The biggest thing that sets War for Cybertron apart from Transformers games that came before it is that it's actually fun to play. The Autobots would not admit to being ecstatic about this development, but their constant merry drinking says more than enough there. The game itself completely takes place on Cybertron, the homeworld of the Transformers, and features no whiny humans at all.

Transformers: War for Cybertron is a third person shooter released in 2010, to help kick off the new Aligned continuity that Hasbro has launched for the Transformers franchise.
